Inspiration Board: Turquoise Pop

If you are game for painting your walls a bold turquoise we won’t stop you however, just a pop of this hot color is sometimes all you need to make a big impact. Inspired by the new Turquoise Bravado! Designs’ Essential Nursing Tank (a team PN favorite!), we rounded up a bit of turquoise inspiration and are sharing ways you can incorporate this beautiful color in the nursery.

  1. Bring in the accessories. Jonathan Adler is the king of turquoise accents and decor. We adore the way this little elephant lacquer clock can brighten a wall while helping mom keep track of time.

  2. Pair it with neutrals. Turquoise pairs gorgeously with gray as seen in this fresh striped nursery.

  3. Add a little gloss and light. Transform the classic table lamp by spraying painting the base a fun, high-gloss turquoise for an updated look.

  4. Make it fun. Pint sized furniture should be fun so choose color and fabrics that are playful like this Jennifer Delonge Parker Child Sofa.

  5. Look up. Talk about big impact. Consider this dreamy designer turquoise chandelier. It’s all the turquoise you’ll ever need!

  6. Start with bedding. When in doubt, crib bedding is an excellent jumping off point for any room design. Annette Tatum’s sophisticated line of crib bedding in shades of turquoise is guaranteed to inspire.

  7. Think storage. No need to go plain here either. 3 Sprouts storage bin with a turquoise peacock helps hide all those crazy colored baby toys while adding contemporary kid-friendly characters.

  8. Paint the furniture. While not everyone is going to want to paint their crib, don’t rule out painting one piece of furniture turquoise. A brightly colored piece will complement white or other traditional stains.
