Account Executive, National Accounts

Who You Are:

You are a skilled, dynamic sales professional with a proven track record working with wholesale apparel businesses.  You have a passion for growing the business building on current relationships while seeking new opportunities in the marketplace.


Role Objective & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales, North America and Europe, the Account Executive is expected to profitably develop the assigned retail channel/market by sourcing and attracting new sales opportunities and growing their customers’ business through the execution of strong strategic partnerships in the North American market.

These partnerships will be based on educating Customers to develop their business with Bravado, creating tailored solutions that meet Bravado’s and Customers’ specific needs and resolving operational challenges effectively.

The Account Executive is responsible for executing sales strategies and plans that will increase revenue and margin by managing accounts, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of Bravado and sub-brand products.


Specifically, the Account Executive will:

  • Create long-term and sustainable growth for Bravado by actively engaging, building relationships with, and inspiring Customers in the assigned channel/market
  • Prepare strategies for business development that include exceptional execution and collaboration with Marketing and Operations to grow revenue and profitability for Bravado
  • Seek out prospective customers/business opportunities in alignment with the Bravado 3-Year Plan, while continuously building an active sales pipeline
  • Build, manage, and leverage relationships with Customers that are based on trust, respect, and appreciation of each other’s strategies to enable the flow of value for the long-term
  • Represent customers internally within Bravado to ensure forecasts are accurate and budgets are communicated and approved
  • Collaborate with Business Analyst to develop reporting tools to monitor and track performance of assigned accounts/channels/markets
  • Collaborate with the Bravado Marketing team to ensure that Bravado is providing key accounts with sales support programs required to grow their business
  • Develop an effective and productive working relationship with Inside Sales and Customer Experience
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the maternity and nursing bra category to ensure that Bravado maintains our leadership in the category



  • 8 years+ experience in professional Sales, Business Development
  • Previous experience working in the North American market with National Retailers, Major Big Box Retailers, Independent retailers
  • Experience working with a wholesale organization, opening new accounts, expanding into new distribution channels and designing successful retail programs and promotions
  • Previous cold calling, sales techniques and pipeline management experience with successful completion of sales training programs
  • Track record of over-achieving sales targets
  • Flexible to travel regularly to the U.S. market and must possess a valid passport and driver’s license
