Content Creator

Who You Are:

Content is critical to the success of any brand.  We are looking for an aesthetics-focused Content Creator to join a global organization’s talented and driven marketing team! Someone with an interest in or background in both graphic design and video editing, with a strong passion for design, blogs/vlogs, writing, fashion and art. Candidates should be able to write, design and edit within an established brand identity and know how to do basic Photoshop and motion edits, along with cutting videos to create dynamic ads. Role Objective & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Content Manager, the Content Creator is accountable to build up our content bank with relevant, meaningful and highly engaging stories that will elevate our brand and engage our consumers at every touchpoint. This will include a mix of written and visual stories in the form of blogs, emails, press releases, ads and other social engagement drivers that focus on women, and the lifestyle trends that surround them. The Content Creator will write, design and edit within an established brand identity and be proficient using Photoshop and simple motion edits, along with cutting videos to create dynamic ads.

The Content Creator will work creatively and collaboratively with both internal and external resources to continually build, plan and adapt the brand voice according to the overall vision and achieve results with engaging and great content.  The Content Creator will work with the Content Manager to determine which assets and content are required for each channel, build it out and evaluate the performance of the content on the platforms through strategic a/b testing.


Specifically, the Content Creator will:

  • Create, develop and manage a robust content and communications planning calendar that drives our ecommerce and social channels
  • Write and design traffic-driving, on-brand content and conversion driven B2B and B2C emails
  • Research, write and design blogs, stories, website copy (outside of product), PR materials and ads that will elevate and enhance our brand and increase overall engagement and conversions
  • Develop simple, beautiful, and on-brand creative across all marketing channels including website, Facebook/IG, Pinterest, Google and Amazon. This will include both organic content and digital ads (video and static)
  • Work closely with the Content Manager to plan, create, shoot and edit simple photography and video creative for all digital channels
  • Assist with lifestyle photography and video planning and editing
  • Work with an integrated marketing team to enhance overall content across all channels
  • Continuously look for opportunities and stay ahead of digital ecommerce brand and creative trends to integrate ecommerce, fashion, retail, social and lifestyle for the best performance and results



  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working with digital brands preferably in the retail fashion industry
  • Experienced writing strong, engaging content across all communication channels
  • Strong understanding and experience of the ecommerce environment and how to engage and convert consumers based on behaviour
  • Must have solid experience using visual editing tools i.e. Photoshop/InDesign and video editing
  • Proven experience as a creative storyteller
  • Must have proven skills using social media tools to enhance network and social presence i.e. Hubspot, Google analytics, Facebook analytics, Insights
  • Must have intermediate motion and video editing skills
  • Passion for trend research is preferred
  • Proven experience writing on social-related trends
  • Experience writing about women and lifestyle trends is an asset
  • Experience with Photography/Videography shooting and editing is an asset
  • Excellent writing skills (blog/social)
  • Intermediate skills using Microsoft Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
  • Must have intermediate to advanced skills using Photoshop
  • Skills and knowledge with ecommerce platforms (i.e. Shopify) and the workings of marketing automation tools
